TrekBurn Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of TrekBurn (the “Application”), developed by Serious Business Software LLC (“Serious Business,” “we,” “us”). By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these Terms.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

In-App Purchases and Free Trial

The Application is free to install and includes a 7-day free trial of all features. If your trial expires, you may extend it by 7 days up to two times (totaling approximately three weeks). You may unlock permanent, lifetime access at any time through a one-time in-app purchase of $3.99 USD (local pricing may vary). All purchases are processed by Google Play.

Refunds

Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play in accordance with the Google Play refund policy. Please direct refund requests to Google Play.

Health and Fitness Disclaimer

TrekBurn provides estimates of basal metabolic rate (BMR), calories, and energy balance for informational purposes only. These figures are calculated estimates and are not medical advice. TrekBurn is not a medical device. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your diet, exercise, or health, particularly before undertaking strenuous activity. Hiking, backpacking, and other outdoor activities carry inherent risks, and you assume full responsibility for your own safety and decisions.

No Warranty

The Application is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serious Business Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Application.

Privacy

Your use of the Application is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Application after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
